LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME
Content Overview
The Tuākana Leadership Programme is designed to continue developing leadership skills, focusing on improving student learning outcomes in schools.
Tuākana is facilitated by a team of several experienced kaiārahi who are all current or former principals, including Tim Oughton, Pauline Cowens, Dave Randell and Grant Lander.
The programme also includes:
Mentoring Sessions
4 x Mentoring sessions with the Kaiārahi of your choice, enabling you to customise your learning specific to your needs.
These will take place online or at the Kaiārahi's location.
Group Korero
You will network with members of your cohort and your Kaiārahi once a term
This will conclude with a Leadership Summit in Term 4 in Auckland.
Leadership Resources
Delivered each term as a variety of video content, readings and links. These will all sit alongside online korero with your cohort.
There will be three options of content for each term with options tailored towards

Wellbeing Kaiārahi
You will have access to our wellbeing Kaiārahi.
TUAKANA NLP is currently not a Ministry of Education funded project although Growth Culture is a distinguished Ministry of Education Professional Learning and Development provider.
Participants who graduate from the Tuakana National Leaders Programme receive Growth Culture accreditation (GC702) and the Tuakana National Leaders Programme certification.
