COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE is a fresh look at best-practice pedagogy as well as emergent research that is proven to actually work in improving collaboration at all levels within and beyond your kura or school. The workshop is designed for all teachers and leaders working collaboratively and/or teachers who are looking to develop collaborative practices and partnerships within, across and beyond their school/kahui ako.

Key note speaker Lisa McWilliam will explore the three strands of collaboration which will equip and empower you as an effective collaborative practitioner. COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE is engineered with an outward-looking perspective. However, it has a particular emphasis on participants own well-being, emotional intelligence and skills to equip and empower them as effective collaborative practitioners. Grounded in recent neuroscience and behavioural research, along with cultural responsiveness to engage and empower collaboration with whanau, hapu and iwi, you will come away from this one-day workshop equipped with the practical skills, resources and tools to help individuals and teams create collaborative cultures.
